I am one of those girls that hates wearing anything twice (especially if it's tagged on Facebook). With many of my friends getting married, having babies, and other events, Rent the Runway has been my "go to" place to get my fabulous fashion attire.
Rent The Runway is a virtual closet that allows you browse dresses and accessories from over 95 designers and rent them for any occasion (black tie, cocktail, date, holiday etc.)for a fraction of the cost. When reserving your dress size, you also receive a back up size absolutely free!  It is the best way to wear expensive designer dresses without making the monetary commitment!
The website is very user friendly, their customer service is top notch, and the best part is that they show everyday woman in each dress so you get a better idea of how it will look on you!  I rented this sexy little number for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and it was a hit!
The only down side to this service: The dress must go back!
See you on the runway!

  3. You look stunning in that dress! I agree with you, I also hate wearing a gown twice, and I know it's going to sit in my closet for ever. I haven't tried RTR myself, it's great they offer a back up size.

    Great post!

    1. Hey girl!
Thank you so much! You should def give it a try! Also- since you are so close to New York City they have two showroom locations where you can try on dresses before you rent! Now that's cool! Thanks for always leaving thoughtful comments! xo

  4. Such a great resource!! I'm with you... wearing the same outfit twice (at least in pictures) makes me crazy. I don't mind revamping particular items but definitely not the whole look!

    1. Revamping yes! I love doing that because I get more use out of my wardrobe but I do dislike wearing the exact outfit twice!

  5. I love Rent the Runway too! I rented a gown for a big black tie gala last fall and not only did I get a bajillion compliments on the dress, but the whole experience was so great. I'm a total sucker for great packaging and I love that RTR lets you keep the garment bag. I also didn't even need to steam out my dress, it was perfect right out of the box!
