Happy Monday Glaminators! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
This post is an interesting one for me.  I left the house to photograph this look and I was so happy with it but, once we were done, I wanted to delete every single image! As women we are so hard on ourselves and I am no exception. When I write my posts and plan my outfits, I do it with a lot of care (not to mention, I am a little bit of a perfectionist).  So, immediately I thought "I cannot post this look because something about it doesn't work for me" (at least in this crazy mind)!
One of my favorite bloggers, Shannon of G.B.O Fashion, calls these outfits her "woofs'. I love that she doesn't take herself too seriously.  The reality of it is, you win some, you lose some and  not every outfit post is going to be "perfect" because striving for perfection is tiring (and also impossible).  I decided to go ahead and post this outfit because the most important thing is to be happy and proud of who you are and forget all the rest!
Ok rant over!!! I do have to say though, aren't the necklace and the sandals so pretty?!?!  See yes, I'm crazy! Thanks for stopping by loves!

  10. I love this outfit and those amazing shoes add a perfect touch of color. I've worn, and posted, SO many outfits that I thought looked amazing just to later realize...ummm..what was I thinking haha. But I seriously love your outfit. I've been eyeing those shoes for a while now. Are they comfy?

    1. Hey Lilly! Thank you so much! Your outfits are always stellar so it's cleary in our own crazy minds!!!! The shoes are comfy but they hit me in a weird spot between the calf and ankle in the back (if that makes sense). It doesn't make things uncomfortable, it just takes time getting use to wearing them! Thanks for stopping by girl!

  13. It's interesting to read that this isn't one of your favorites! I know we're our own worst critic. It's funny because I take my pictures for the week the weekend before I'm actually "scheduled" to wear them in real life, and sometimes, seeing the photos either makes me nix the outfit altogether or do a little restyling. But then it makes me wonder what life was like BEFORE I took outfit photos - all those times I didn't have that "second" chance to make real life edits! *cringing*
Short story - you look great, and I love the gingham + pink combo!!

    1. That's so cool! Some of my posts are what I am wearing before I go out so there are no second chances for me! It's smart that you do that because not only get a second chance, but you have your outfits planned for the week! Now I have to subscribe to that plan! Thanks for stopping by!

  14. One of my favorite things ever is wearing a sleeveless black sheath with a button-down underneath. Such a classic corporate look. Of course you made yours girly with the gorgeous pink stilettos and matching statement necklace. Looking gorgeous, Marianne. =)

I always enjoy stopping by your blog. Ada. =)

  15. You look to cute. I hear ya on having moments where you think it looks great in the mirror, and then once out the door something clicks when you see the first picture. I personally think you look cute in this picture. I love that it is the perfect amount of preppy. :)
