She's Crafty

Buy the Kit Here  (*Photo source Darby Smart)

Happy Wednesday Glaminators! Hope your week is running smoothly! Did I ever tell you how much I love making things?  I use to scrapbook, design pillows for my friends, embellish flip flops, and now I love to knit!
I stumbled upon this company called Darby Smart that sells kits to satisfy all of your D.I.Y. needs.  While perusing the site, I found this kit to make a magazine clutch and I thought to myself... "um yes please!"  It comes with everything you need, all you have to do is choose the cover.  This crazy fashionista walked around the magazine section of Barnes and Noble at least 100 times and if anyone was watching, they would've thought I had some major decision making issues! I had a lot to consider and I was totally judging a magazine by it's cover! I finally chose Harper's Bazaar's September issue with Lady Gaga on the cover:
The instructions were simple enough, the only thing that was a little challenging was measuring the cover to be the perfect fit.  The kit is $29 but if you use the code:Welcome24 at checkout you will receive $10 off and free shipping on your first order! Such a great deal and a great way to add personal flair to your wardrobe! So go out there and get crafty!!

Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Awesome DIY, and a great way to recycle a magazine's cover that it's too cute to give it away sometimes :) I really turned out great!
