Happy Wednesday folks! Mother Nature has been a little under the weather the past couple of days here in New Jersey.  Actually, I think she may need to see a doctor because she's been down right confused when it comes to what spring weather should be like at the end of April!  Maybe she needs a reminder! I'll be sure to re-send her the memo I sent at the end of March.  She clearly hasn't gotten to it yet!
The night we took these photos was again, unseasonably cold for April. I tried to keep this look spring appropriate without dressing in too many layers and looking like the kid from a Christmas Story.  My moto jacket is my go-to jacket in the spring because it pretty much goes with anything! Take these booties off, add a pair of flats, and it would be the perfect spring ensemble! How are you keeping warm this spring?

This outfit was planned around these fabulous Jessica Simpson Larsenn Sandals. I was on the hunt for lace up sandals but needed to look no further when I found these fabulous kicks.  The heel height is perfect and my foot felt very secure with these lace ups.  I purchased them at Macy's and you can use the promo code: SPRING to get 20% off!  Hope this look inspires you to indulge in this fun trend this spring!

Daughter Judy

Peplum Top- Zara last season-Sleeveless Option Here at H & M/
 Pants- Old Navy- Last Season- Similar Here-and Here/
Shoes- Exact Here/ Michael Kors Cross body/ Sunnies- GucciLia Sophia Ring/
Lia Sophia Glaminator Necklace- Retired/ Bracelets- Lia Sophia

Peplum. I love this style. It's a great silhouette but for some reason, reminds me of the Jetsons.  I call this my "Daughter Judy" top because it just reminds me of something that she would've worn if it was a cartoon in 2014.  Looking at pictures, she never wore a peplum top so clearly I'm just nuts. HA!
 I picked up these printed pants in Old Navy last spring and they are still relevant this season. I kept the colors simple so that the print of the pants could be the focal point of the outfit.  Sometime you have to pick and choose your statement!

Hey all! I can't believe it's Monday! My spring break is over (whomp whomp) but I do have to say, I had a great one! If you follow along on Instagram you can see some details in pictures!  We celebrated Passover with my husband's family, had a beautiful Easter with mine, caught up with my best girls (their amazing kiddies), and Mumford and I got tons of quality cuddle time each morning.  Oh! I did some shopping too! (Shhhh!!!) Express is still having their 40% off sale!  I picked up some stuff for me and the hubby, so everyone wins!
We took these pictures at a beautiful garden where we took our wedding photos three and a half years ago! It was nice to be back there and reminisce. The color in this outfit was a great compliment to the beautiful colors in the gardens.  I scored this top for $20 in Kohl's and I was stoked to see how well it went with my colored Gap jeans from last season! Don't you just love when that happens? Hope today is a beautiful start to an amazing week!

Kacie Peep Toe Bootie- Target- Exact Here/ Jessica Simpson Hadley Messenger- Marshalls- Here in other Colors/
Brown Leather Belt- The Loft/ Bracelets- Lia Sophia/ Sunnies- Simply Vera- Kohls- Exact Here
I'm having some mah-jor writers block ya'll.  This post had a million different names one of which was: "I don't know what to call this."  Then I looked at the pictures and realized the brick wall represents my mental block.
I was super excited about this look because it is one that is so easy to re-create.  It's full of your basics: Chambray top, white jeans, basic brown open toe booties, brown belt.  I added trendy items to this classic look, the striped scarf ( $8.80 @ F21) and this fun neon orange cross body bag ($29 @ Marshall's) just to make it relevant in the season. What's your favorite classic look and what do you pair with it?

Oh The Flossy Flossy: For the Love of Leopard

Hey Glam Squad! Meet Danielle! She is the trendsetter behind the blog "For the Love of Leopard". I have been a fan of hers for a while and I wanted to share her passion of fashion with all of you! Danielle's style is fun, colorful, inspirational, and she's a fellow lover of leopard (and polka dots,camo, and stripes).   I asked Danielle to answer some questions so we can get to know her a little better! Read below to learn more about this flossy fashion diva!

1. Well Danielle, I am truly obsessed with your blog! I love all of your outfits, tips, fashion finds, and most importantly your blog name! How did that name come about?

Danielle:  Thank you so much!  I am obsessed with everything leopard and truly believe that it is a neutral that looks great with anything.  Most of my outfits contain at least a little pop of leopard, so I knew I wanted my blog to reflect that.  I bounced around a few ideas with my friends and "For the Love of Leopard" was the one that stuck!

2. Who is your favorite style icon and why?

Danielle: This is a tough one!  I'm going to go with a non-traditional answer and say Emily Maynard.  She is always rocking and experimenting with new trends, which I love.

3. What is your favorite date night look?

Danielle: I love pairing super casual denim with fancier pieces, so lately I've been dressing up distressed denim with pumps, a fun top and a shiny statement necklace.

4. Lipstick or lip gloss?

Danielle: I'm actually more of a Chap Stick girl.  I'm obsessed with Burt's Bees "Rejuvenating" formula and never leave the house without it.  However, I just recently bought Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain on a whim and I loved it so much I went back for a second color.  The colors are so fun and bright and have some serious lasting power.

5. What is your favorite trend this season?

Danielle: Can I say leopard?!  I'm also loving color - lots and lots of color - and try to incorporate at least one bright color (usually more) into every outfit!

6. What is the most important thing that you want readers to get from your blog?

Danielle: I aspire to inspire.  I get so many of my outfit ideas and inspiration from all of the wonderful blogs I follow, and I just want to pass that inspiration onto others.  I also fully believe that you can try out the latest and greatest trends without breaking the bank, so I love to share good deals and looks for less with my readers.

7. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

Danielle: I'm not an artist and despite my best efforts, I'm terrible at crafting. I can't play musical instruments or hold a tune for my life.  The only way I know how to express my creativity is through clothing and outfit planning.  Blogging is my creative outlet!  On top of that, I love the blogging community and all of the wonderful women who are always building each other up.  It's truly inspiring.

8. Please choose 3 of your favorite blogged outfits and explain why you love each one!

Pretty Pastels    Chambray & Polka Dots    Leather & Lace
Pretty Pastels:  I already talked about my love for color, and nothing exemplifies it quite like this outfit.  This look is as colorful as it gets and totally screams "Spring!"- and I am loving it.

Chambray & Polka-Dots:  First off, let me just say that I am completely obsessed with this J. Crew top. The sequins make it a little fancy while the polka-dots add a little whimsy.  For this look, I've paired it with a chambray top to give it a more casual vibe.  I love outfits that serve dual purposes, and this outfit is polished enough to wear to work but also fun enough to wear for a night out.

Leather & Lace: These radiant orchid pumps are probably my favorite recent purchase.  The color is absolutely perfect (and so on trend!) and I love the fun metallic gold heel.  In this look, I paired the pumps with a mostly black ensemble so they really pop.  Faux leather pants are a great way to jazz up any look and are perfect for date night!

Well friends, there you have it! This girl is on fire and I hope you check out her blog and follow along with me!

Statement Stripes

Outfit Details: {Kohl's- Elle Striped and Fit Flare Dress- Sold out Same dress different color here}
{Crystal Sunburst Necklace - J.Crew Factory- Exact Here} {{Pointed Toe Pump- Exact Here}
{Blazer- H&M- Here}  {Chained Clutch- Francesca's Old- Similar Here}
Does anyone else have a major addiction to stripes? I'm so addicted and I can't help myself.  I also find that those that are addicted to stripes also like leopard, polka dots, and plaid.  It's not scientifically proven, but I read and see enough blogs to see other "addicted" ladies like me! I could wear stripes every day and not even be mad about it.
 This dress is from Kohl's (where I always expect great things).  I only shop there when I receive the 30% off coupons so this dress came to $32! Not bad for a great piece!  I added the belt, statement necklace, and hot pink pumps for some added pizazz!
Happy Hump day! Three more days until the weekend! Whoop whoop!
